Prelicensing and Defensive Driving Courses

 GENERAL INFORMATION 

• Classes are held at Spackenkill High School (SHS)..
• Classes will not be held when school is canceled due to inclement weather.
• Confirmations will not be sent. You will only be notified if the class is canceled or filled.
• Receipts will be given out at the first class.
• No refunds will be made unless class is canceled.
• Defensive Driving classes are canceled when there is insufficient enrollment.
• Please send in your registration at least a week before the start of the class. If you intend to register for the classs and your registration will not reach us a week before the class begins, please call 463-7800 to late-register by phone.

 NEW YORK STATE 5-HOUR PRELICENSING

 
This class is for beginner drivers with a valid learner's permit and for other drivers who need to obtain a NYS driver's license. Bring learner's permit to class. Fee (cash or check): $20.

All Classes meet Tuesday & Thursday / 3:00 - 5:30 PM / Location: Spackenkill High School, Rm. 306

Session 1: September 14 and 16

Session 2: October 19 and 21

Session 3: November 16 and 18

Session 4: December 14 and 16

6-HOUR DEFENSIVE DRIVING

 
This class offers a 10% liability and collision insurance discount for 3 years and up to 4 points reduced from your license. It reviews safe driving techniques. Bring driver's license to class. Fee: $40.
