Hagan Principal's Message

Dear Hagan Families,

May is here already the end of the school year is near. The weather is getting warmer and students have spring fever. Our teachers are still working hard continually motivating students to work … there is still a lot of learning to be done.

The month of May is busy with NYS testing. The third, fourth, and fifth grade students took the NYS ELA tests last week and NYS MATH this week. The NYS Science test for fourth grade will be May 25th and June 7th. Our district was chosen to participate in NYS Field testing for grades 3, 4, & 5 on May 13th.

Thanks to the Hagan PTA, Teacher’s Appreciation week is a big success. The teachers enjoyed breakfast, a coffee cart, chair massage, luncheon and a special surprise. What a wonderful way to show our teachers how much they are appreciated.

Kindergarten screening is May 11th, 12th, and 13th for children who have registered for September 2010. If you have not registered please come to the Hagan office between 8:00 and 4:00.
