Jump Rope for Heart


Congratulations to Hagan students for raising $6,198.35 for the American Heart Association through the Jump Rope for Heart Program.

Noro Virus Alert

March 16, 2015:  Several children in our district are presenting with a stomach illness that resembles Noro-like virus. Symptoms of Noro virus can include any or all of the following: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, low-grade fever, dehydration and headache.  This illness usually lasts an average of 24–72 hours.  Noro virus is more commonly known as the 24-hour stomach bug. Hagan Geography Bee


Congratulations to Connor Schnackenberg for placing first in the 2015 Geography Bee competition.

Police Dogs Visit Mrs. Auger's Class



Deputy Merritt and Deputy O'Brien from the Dutchess County Sheriff's Department paid a visit to Mrs. Auger's and Mrs. Diaz-Batista's class today.  Children were introduced to Buddy and Libby.  Buddy assists Officer Merritt with finding people who are lost or searches for criminals while Libby is an arson dog and assists Officer O'Brien in finding accelerants.  The children and teachers thoroughly enjoyed this presentation.

Hagan's Adopt a Family Giving Tree
