School Lunch Program

To Parents & Guardians,

Welcome back to a new school year! For your convenience and to avoid an upsetting situation if your child arrives at school without lunch money, we strongly recommend prepaying for lunch and breakfast. We have a policy of no charging and ask for your cooperation by encouraging you to utilize the pre-pay system. Pre-paid tickets are also an easy and convenient way to ensure your child receives a balanced lunch.

Arrangements have been made to provide an alternate lunch and breakfast (so no child will go hungry) if this situation occurs. Any child who does not have lunch money will be offered a peanut butter & jelly sandwich on wheat bread and an apple or orange juice. If your child has an allergy with a documented medical note on file, they will be offered cheese on wheat bread. Whole wheat toast and juice will be offered for breakfast. We expect this service will be used only in an emergency situation and will not be abused.

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Sincerely,

Lisa French
