Sophomore Honored for Volunteerism

 Spackenkill High School sophomore Macallan Durkin was one of two youth honorees recognized for volunteerism by the United Way and Hands On! The Hudson Valley at the recent Spirit of Dutchess County luncheon. Macallan has spent the past five years developing and directing the nonprofit organization Goody Goodies, which offers fair-trade products.
