A
wind vane is used to measure the direction of the wind. It points
to where the wind is blowing. The compass points are used. They
are north, south, east, and west. Northeast, northwest, southeast,
and southwest are also used to tell where the wind is blowing.
Wind direction reports tell us where changes in weather will
take place.

We
made our own wind vane using simple materials.
