TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS:
-Senior tee-shirt designs are due today to Mrs. Stong in Room 113.
-Sophomore tee-shirt orders are due today to Ms. Girard by 2:30.
-Anime Club meeting Wednesday after school.
CLASS NEWS:
Senior Prom meeting Thursday, March 4th at 2:15 in Room 420.
Junior Class Prom meeting Thursday, March 4th at 2:10 in Room 209. All are welcome.
Anyone interested in playing in the class basketball games on Thursday, March 18th, please sign up with your advisors.
Seniors - Jostens will be here on Thursday, March 4th during lunch periods to take orders for CAPS & GOWNS. If you have not ordered one, plan to do so on this day. See Ms. Keith or Mrs. Stong if you have any questions.
SPARTAN SPORTS:
All students interested in trying out for JV & Varsity Softball – mandatory meeting today at 2:15 in the gym.
CLUB HAPPENINGS:
The Practice SAT scheduled for last Saturday will be held this Saturday, March 6th at 9:00 AM in Room 103.
Students who were in the Pre-licensing Class on February 16th – the second half of the class will be held on Thursday, March 18th.
PRISMS Concert tickets are on sale. See any music teacher or student to get tickets. The concert is Wednesday, March 10th at 7:30 pm in the Spackenkill High School Auditorium. Come enjoy the concert!
10th & 11th grade students, who are interested in the teaching profession, please see Ms. DeFreest in the Guidance Office regarding an upcoming workshop at SUNY New Paltz.
The Columbia Science Honors Program applications are due today. This program offers enrichment courses in Science and Math on Saturday mornings. Students in grades 9 thru 11 may apply. If interested get a flyer from your Science teacher or the Guidance Office.
Are the books lining your bedroom shelves a Series of Unfortunate Events? Has Frindle faded into memory? Have you already crossed the Bridge to Terabithia because of Winn Dixie? If you have books on your shelves, appropriate for students in Grades 3-5, that you no longer want, please donate them to Hagan PARP Book Swap! A collection box will be in the High School lobby until the end of the day on Friday, March 5th. Thank you!
