Morning Announcements 03/10/10

A.M. Announcements
• PTA has extended the deadline for water bottle orders. The water bottles have been updated to say “Spackenkill” along the front. The price is $15.00 and is stainless steel.
• Science Olympiad will have a mandatory meeting tomorrow in Room 7 until 4:00.
• The Computer Club will meet today at 2:30 in Mr. Humphrey's room. The topics will include programming in BASIC, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator and other topics of interest. New members are always welcomed.
• Anyone interested in trying out for girls modified softball must attend mandatory meeting today at 2:45 in the gym.
• With the exception of scheduled classes, the library will be closed through 5th period today.
• Congratulations to the 6th grade Scholastic Bowl team. They came in 1st place at their competition Monday night. Way to go!
• Modified softball tryouts will take place on Monday, March 15th and Tuesday, March 16th, at the High School gym from 5-7pm.
• Book Club will meet Friday at 2:30 in the Library.
• There will be a GALS meeting tomorrow from 2:30-3:00 in Room 7. All members should attend.
• Todd Middle School will have there annual Talent Show on March 25th. Tickets go on sale tomorrow during lunch for $1.00.
