TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS:

Photography Club meeting today after school in Room 113.

CLASS NEWS:

Students who signed up to play in the class basketball game – The practice schedule is as follows:

Seniors & Sophomores: Friday, March 12th.

Freshmen & Juniors: today.

Practice will be after school in the gym. You must attend practice and have a class T- shirt to play in the game! See Ms. Klein if you have a question or to sign up to play.

SENIORS:

The Spackenkill Teachers’ Association provides monetary awards for deserving seniors who display qualities of character and a dedication to academics. Applications for this scholarship are now available on the Spackenkill website or in the Guidance Office. Initial application is due March 23rd.

The PTA Dollars for Seniors Recognition Award applications are available on the Spackenkill website under Guidance Office Scholarships, or you can pick up a copy in the Guidance Office. Applications are due in Mr. Fanuele's office by April 30th. Any questions see Mrs. Dwyer.

SPARTAN SPORTS:

Baseball tryouts will be today and tomorrow, Friday March 12th at Todd Middle School. Varsity will be 3–5 pm and JV 5–7 pm.

CLUB HAPPENINGS:

Attention all students interested in going to France: your application & check is due to Mrs. Stathidis by this Friday, March 12th.

Any student who plans to attend BOCES CTI next year must turn in their applications to the Guidance Office no later than Friday, March 12th. If you are a first year student this year and plan to return to BOCES, your applications are also due on March 12th.

Students who were in the Pre-licensing Class on February 16th – the second half of the class will be held on Thursday, March 18th.

The Tips & Tricks/Scores Back Session for those students who took the Saturday Practice ACT and/or SAT has been re-scheduled for Tuesday, March 16th at 6:30 pm in Room 103. Parents & students are welcome.

FACULTY FORUM:

The Prism Awards will be given on March 24th. All faculty please consider nominating a student. Nomination forms are below the faculty mailboxes.
