SENIORS:
The Spackenkill Teachers' Association awards scholarships to deserving seniors who apply. The 2012 applications are now available in the Counseling Center. The application has two parts. The first part is due on Tuesday, March 20, 2012.
Seniors please start bringing in individual or group shot pictures. These pictures will be part of the senior slide show seen at graduation. Bring to Mrs. Girard, place in her mailbox, or email to karen.kardas@spackenkillschools.org.
CLUB HAPPENINGS:
First rehearsal for anyone participating in "Love Letters" will be Tuesday, January 31st at 2:15 in the Auditorium.
Leo Club is sponsoring Teens for Jeans, a program where students donate their gently used jeans to homeless teenagers in America. Please bring in your gently used jeans by February 11th and put them in the collection bins under the front lobby stairs.
The Junior Class is still selling Foam and Wash car wash coupons for $8.00, a $2.00 savings over the regular price. The coupons do not expire. See any Junior or Ms. Klein.
Seniors & your parents - if you have questions about completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), you can call the FAFSA Assistance Hotline at 1-800-808-1790 Tuesdays and Thursdays from noon to 5:00 pm until February 28th.
Practice ACT Test Saturday, February 4th, 9 am - 1 pm. Practice SAT Test Saturday, February 11th, 9 am - 1 pm. Score Interpretation Session is Wednesday, February 22nd , 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm. Tests are held at SHS sponsored by the Leo Club. Participation fee for each test is $7. Call 1-800-2Review to register.
