TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS:     C Day

The last ski trip of the year is this Saturday, March 10th. We leave for Gore at 6 am and should return around 6:30 pm. Sub space is available.

Today is the Pizzeria Uno fundraiser hosted by the Senior Class. The Senior Class will receive 20% of your final bill. Dine in or take out. Pick up a flyer from a Senior Class Officer or the Main Office.

SPARTAN SPORTS:

Sign your team up for the Floor Hockey League. Games will start March 12.

Volleyball open gym Monday, March 12th 7 - 9 pm in SHS gym. All are welcome.

CLUB HAPPENINGS:

LEO Club is helping the PARP book swap by collecting donated books from high school students. Today is the last day to bring in a used book you loved in 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade and put it in the Book Swap Box at the base of the main lobby stairs or in the library.

Senior Class Prom meeting Tuesday, March 13th after school in Room 216. All are welcome to attend. 

The freshmen class is selling the ultimate discount card for $12. The freshman who sells the most cards will receive a $50 gift card to the Poughkeepsie Galleria.

Seniors please bring in individual or group shot pictures. These pictures will be part of the senior slide show seen at graduation. Give to Mrs. Girard, place in her mailbox, or email to karen.kardas@spackenkillschools.org by March 30th.

Yearbooks are still on sale. Buy one today before it's too late. Order forms are in the Main Office. 

Interested in community service hours and want to help elementary school students with reading? Hagan is looking for a few students to help with the PARP program and read with students from 2:15- 3 PM during the month of March. Please see Ms. Klein to sign up by Wednesday, March 14th.

COMMUNITY EVENTS:

The Muscular Dystrophy Association provides needed services and research for children and adults suffering from muscle damaging diseases. Please take this opportunity to help others, by contributing to the Spackenkill Cheerleaders’ Campaign for MDA - every little bit counts! Donations can be dropped off in the Athletic Office.

The Junior Class is sponsoring a Chili’s Give Back Night on Thursday, March 15th. Dine with your friends or family at Chili’s and when you present the coupon, the Junior Class receives 10% of the sales. It is good all day and includes take out. Coupons are in the Main Office or with Ms Klein.

Faculty Basketball Challenge - Friday, March 16th at 6:30 pm. All proceeds go towards putting on SGO's Senior Citizen Prom.
