Please return to your current class adviser by Thursday, May 23. Election date and speeches to be determined

Class of 2015 is having a Car Show Saturday, June 1 from 10 - 3pm at the Spackenkill High School. Admission is free.

Senior Prom tickets are on sale in the Main Lobby before & after school. If you are unable to purchase your tickets during those times, please see Ms. DeFreest or Ms. Klein.

Seniors - if you did not order a senior class t-shirt and still want one; please bring in your $10 cash and see Ms. Klein ASAP. Last call.

SPARTAN SPORTS:

Parent permission forms for fall sports are due to the school nurse by TODAY.

CLUB HAPPENINGS:

There will be a brief SGO meeting on Wednesday, May 29 at 2:10 in Room 212. All reps should attend.

There will be an informational meeting with Mrs. Chaoussoglou-Rotter on Wednesday, May 29 at 2:10 pm at Todd Middle School for National Junior Honor Society alumni who have a brother or sister being inducted this year and would like to participate in the ceremony. If you would like to participate but cannot attend, please have your parents contact her at the middle school.

5 Hour Pre-licensing Course Tuesday, June 4 & Thursday, June 6 from 3 - 5:30 pm at Spackenkill High School Room 004.  Registration forms are in the Main Office.

Today is the last day to bring a boxed cereal for the Cereal Counts drive to provide people of all ages access to school-based free breakfast programs in the summer. Please drop off a box of cereal in the Main Lobby. They will be delivered to area food pantries in Dutchess County.

The Hudson Valley Special Olympics annual Polar Plunge is taking place this Saturday, February 23 at the Sharpe Reservation in Fishkill. Want to help? Join Team Spartan or give a donation to one of the team members or the Polar Bear during lunch periods. If you jump in the water AND help out with the plunge, you will receive 10 hours of community service. They are looking for volunteers to help that day with everything from parking to registration. See Ms. Klein for more information.

Shop for a cause this Sunday and Monday at Mandee's in the Stop and Shop Plaza.  Mandee’s is donating a portion of all sales on these days to the Cheerleaders to help them with their competition expenses.  Come enjoy great sales, special treats and even a fashion show with team members Monday at 2 p.m.

The Spartan Football team is looking for team managers to help out on game days with water & stats and other duties. There are community service hours available for this as well. Please see Mr. DeSouza ASAP in Room 216 if you are interested.

The first meeting of SGO will take place on Wednesday, September 12th after school in the Black Box. All elected class presidents, Student Government reps and club presidents and/or club representatives MUST attend. Nominations will be taken for new SGO school wide officers at this meeting. Any questions please see Ms. Klein in the Counseling Office.

MSG Varsity Media Club meeting on Thursday, September 13th at 2:10 in Room 215. Any students interested in film or journalism should come learn more about the club. We will also be setting up our new studio.

5 Hour Pre-licensing Course Tuesday, September 18th and Thursday, September 20th from 3 - 5:30 pm at Spackenkill High School Room 004. Registration forms are in the Main Office.

Driver's Ed will begin Wednesday, September 19th.  Orientation is Wednesday, September 12th from 6:30 - 8 pm at SHS.  Attendance is mandatory.  Applications can be found on the school website or in the Main Office.

Senior panoramic picture will be taken on Friday, September 14th at 7:15 am on the football field.

Senior portrait make-up day is Thursday, September 20th.  Call Lifetouch for an appointment.
