Thanks to all the parents that showed up, and for those that did not attend, our next meeting is on November 4 (no meeting in December). Please make every effort to attend as your involvement is really key to the success of our PTA. We look forward to seeing all of you there.

Hagan
The Hudson Valley’s November autumn colors and December wintry whites present an inspiring canvas to stir our visions. The theme this year is “Beauty is…” Reminder: entries are due November 10. Thank you Doris Conti for coordinating this event again this year.
Kids’ Art also gives Hagan students a chance to free their inner artist through design of their own stationery, stickers, cards, etc. for purchase. Orders will be delivered in time for holiday gift giving. Any questions, contact Krista Ackert.
Show your creative spirit with Hagan Hawk Spiritwear. Orders are being collected and delivery is expected around Thanksgiving. Any questions, contact Kerry Maslyn or Dionna O’Brien.

Nassau
The Nassau PTA has been very busy these past two months! We can’t believe it is November all ready! There was much activity that went on in September and October and we are looking forward to all the events that November and December has to offer.
We had a great turn out for our Welcome Back Pizza Party. Thanks to Shari Davis for all of her hard work. Thank you to Tara Speranza for doing a wonderful job with the fall bookfair! We were able to earn enough profit from Scholastic to buy a Smartboard for the library and are currently looking into ways that we can have it installed.
Picture day went exceptionally well. Thank you to Karen Keith and everyone who helped out. Mark your calendars - Picture Retake Day is on November 18th. The Enjoy the City fundraiser did well! Thanks to all who sold the books. Nassau was all a fright at our Halloween parties. A special thank you to Patty Cohen for the PTA Halloween Party. Everyone had a great time.
We would like to comment on the great turnout for our PTA meetings! Now that child care is offered, more are able to attend. At every meeting, someone from our school district is available to answer any questions or concerns you might have. Hope to see you at the next meeting on November 17th.
We are just wrapping up our Cookie Dough fundraiser so make sure you get your orders in on the 2nd. If you have any questions, please contact Suzanne Sileno. We look forward to Movie Night on November 13; keep a lookout for the flyers to come home. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Michele Messick. Our Holiday Event is scheduled for December 11. If you can help in any way, please contact Marcie Sherilla or Cristy Sanseverino.
Our PTA membership drive is currently in full swing! If you cannot give your time by volunteering, you can still help us by becoming a member. Your membership dues enable us to provide many activities for the children such as parties as well as curriculum-based events. We cannot do it without your support. Please contact Joanne Van Ness at 463-3617 to become a member.
