Drivers Education


Wednesday, September 9th – Thursday, September 24th


Thursday Sept 24th from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm in

The High School Auditorium.

 A parent must attend with student

 If you have any questions call the Guidance Office at 463-7822.

***Only students who are pre-registered will be seated. 

Any walk-ins will be put on a waiting list on a first come/first served basis.




Senior Class Field Day and Graduation Video

Senior Field day will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015.  Please help us make your child's last days at Spackenkill a happy memory.  We are in need of donations of food and beverages.  Please click here to see a list of possible donations.  In addition, childhood group pictures are desperately needed for the graduation video/dvd, which is distributed to each graduate.  Please send in pictures which will be scanned and returned with your child, OR email them to:  Thanks for helping us make your child's graduation special!

SHS Juniors Inducted into NTHS

Spackenkill High School juniors Shania Conklin, Brian Griffing, and Elizabeth Riehl were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) on May 27th. The NTHS honors the achievements of career and technical education students. Congratulations!

Regents/Final Exams

The Regents/Final exam period is rapidly approaching.  The last day of regular classes is Wednesday, June 10, 2015.  Regents and Finals start on Thursday, June 11th and continue through Tuesday, June 23rd.  Attached please find a copy of the Regents/Final exam schedule and the transportation schedule.  Students have been notified of their individual Regents/Final exams in their classes.  Attendance for these exams is mandatory and necessary for course credit.  If you have any questions, please contact the main office at 463-7810.

Nikhil Dhawan Wins Medal at ISEF

Congratulations to Nikhil Dhawan for winning a 4th place medal in the Materials Science Division at the International Intel Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in Pittsburgh, PA last week. There were 50 competitors from around the world in his division and over a thousand students presented at the fair.  Nikhil qualified for ISEFby winning 1st place at the regional competition at Dutchess Community College In March.  He conducted his research at Rutgers College of Engineering last summer as part of Spackenkill High School’s Science Research Program.
