The Todd Library Media Center contains a diverse book and audio book collection for loan to students and staff. Non-fiction and reference materials cover the curricular areas of the school as well as items aimed towards students' personal interests. The fiction collection provides students with a wide array of classic and popular young adult literature. Pleasure reading materials such as series titles, graphic novels [comics], and magazines of interest to middle school students are also a major part of the collection.

Mrs. Kristine Chen is the Library Media Specialist for the Todd Library Media Center and Mrs. Scott is the Library Aide.

Visiting:  Students visit the Library Media Center before and after school, during lunch periods and during Todd Times. Library hours are generally 7:40a.m. to 3:00p.m. Students will also spend class time in the Library Media Center performing research for various subject area classes. Instruction is delivered by both classroom teachers and the library media specialist.

Borrowing: The loan period for most materials is 2 weeks. Renewal or additional time may be requested. Students receive overdue notices in homeroom. After 4 overdue notices for a given book, a student may be asked to provide payment for a replacement copy.

Home Access: Home access to library media center resources is available through the Todd Middle School Library website. Some subscription databases may require access codes which are available in printed form from the Library Media Center. Please contact us about any problems with accessing materials from home.
