WHAT: STEM Day with Hands-on Activities & Amazing Demonstrations

WHERE: Todd Middle School/Spackenkill Union Free School District, 11 Croft Road, Poughkeepsie

WHEN: February 27, 2016 (snow date 2/28), 10am - 1pm

WHO: Students in grades 5 - 8 with parents, siblings, etc.


Spackenkill's 2nd annual STEM day will be held at Todd Middle School on Saturday, February 27 from 10 am until 1 pm.  Everyone in the community and students from other districts are invited to come out and enjoy a fun day filled with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math learning activities. Expect hands-on activity stations and demos covering a fascinating range of topics.

Come watch students, faculty, and members of the Spackenkill community present and demonstrate scientific, technological, engineering, and mathematical concepts, principles, and artifacts. Get a look into the world of electricity, materials, and computer applications.

It’s going to be a great day!

Cupid Ball 2016

The Cupid Ball will be held at Todd Middle School
on Thursday, February 11th,  from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  
Tickets will be sold for $5.00 during lunch periods, and $10.00 at the door.
There will be free cookies, open gym, ping-pong, a DJ, and many more fun activities.

Spaghetti Dinner

The Elementary Schools will be hosting a Spaghetti Dinner
at Todd Middle School on Friday, January 22nd, at 6 pm in the dining hall.

AMC 8 2015 Winners

Congratulations go out to the nine students who took this year’s
AMC 8 (American Mathematics Competition Level 8) here at Todd in November. 
Special congratulations go out to the following students who
earned awards through their exceptional performance on this exam. 

Albert Yao, who was our School Winner, and earned Honors as he placed in the top 1% nationally

Emily Ma, who placed 2nd in our school, and placed in the top 25% nationally

Anikha Justin, who placed 3rd in our school, and was also in the top 25% nationally.
