NYSED Digital Resource Survey

Collecting accurate data regarding digital resource access for our New York students will greatly help educators to better serve their students and families. In order to accomplish this, the New York State Education Department (NYSED) is asking parents or guardians to complete a Digital Resource Survey (for each student in the family) in grades Kindergarten – Grade 12. This annual survey will provide information on student access to devices and internet access in their places of residence.

Spackenkill Union Free School District is assisting NYSED in collecting data related to student internet and digital device access at home. Both the district and NYSED are committed to ensuring digital equity for every student in our community and across the state. This data will be used on an ongoing basis to help identify technology needs and target resources and funding opportunities when they become available.

Your participation is important!

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Beginning Monday, October 23, the survey will be emailed to you with a link for each child in your household.
  • Watch for the email from Spackenkill with the subject line 2023-2024 School Year: Digital Resource Survey.
